Edit: rather then rant again on the subject that has caused the last great clusterf**k among up. I thought it best to just repost this. I stand by it now, as a I did then. While I will not name anybody, we all need to mature a little, and also to not take things as they seem. I learned one heck of a lesson today, pepole can be two-faced. Sadly, its sometimes pepole who you have great fath in. We need to stop gathering in groups againt eachother. While yes some of us act very imature and self centerd, we shouldn't let the actions of one atack the rest. let grudges stay between two pepole rather then spread.


They say the pen is mightier then the sword…well what I about the Pen Down (or type down) has to be on of the biggest issues regarding the youth rail fan basis…. ever.



Supposedly, there has been a “schism” (or split for you non-literary folks) regarding those of us on both Youtube and DA. I must say this…there is NO SCHISIM!!!! WE HAVE NOT SPLIT! What has happened, is a bunch of us have suddenly decided to whine and complain and segregate themselves from the rest of us. What makes the issue worse is that this group by doing this has called upon themselves the wrath of the rest of us. While I have been staying out of it for the most part because I don’t want to get involved. Well now it has driven me to the point that I must protest.



No More whining, moaning, sucking up to, copying or stealing.

This has all started because someone who shall remain unnamed (even though we all know his name) decided to steal art, and then rip off other artists. This has long been taken care of, as it should have been. Now before people start screaming “Hypocrite” at me, let me put down the three things that I think should be discouraged

1. Stealing art. And I don’t mean “tributes” I mean down right taking work someone else did, and calling it your own. Now while I personably get a kick out of, and sometimes even get an ego boost out of this. Its bad, it makes you look bad, and it is against the rules here on Deveantart. Draw your own work. Tributes are nice, but it gets annoying when I see a wagon top similarly designed WOLF RR styled 4-4-0 numbered “97” doing relatively the exact same things as my own “97”
2. Bullying. I don’t mean letting someone know that their art peace sucks and then outlining why, I mean going to someone’s page and spamming it. We all are weird and strange in our own ways. I mean hell, I have a cocker spaniel running a steam locomotive!
3. Egos. Let me tell all of you. Put your hand in a water bucket….now take it out. Is there a hole where your hand was?….NO. I do not have time for over inflated egos. Now I’m not saying that any of you do, but really, we all are on the same plan of existence, stop looking down at newcomers who have no idea what they are doing. And Newcomers…stop trying to do stuff just for the attraction, Ok. You art is all I want to see.


So, with that said: To those of you in the “fun side”: Deventart is an art website. I came here because I like to draw, and I like people to see my work and enjoy it. I do not come here to become “Super popular” or one of “the crowd” we should all respect each other and stop complaining/bitching/sucking up/placing ourselves in a group. Aren’t we all in a group anyway?….Railfans. (except for me…I’m a RailROADER XD Jking) This crap where we are all attempting to gain fans has to stop. Also, just because you like it, doesn’t mean we all have too. Case and Point…I think the Beatles suck. Now does that make me bad…No…dose that mean all you Beatles fanatics are stupid…No. It just means to my ears the Beatles are nothing more then utter rubbish (which they are!) end of story…my opinion, and I’m aloud to have it. And Please, enough with the sucking up. Ok, I’ve had enough of seeing un-original designs that are clearly rip-offs. Make your art. And don’t give me that “well…I don’t know how to” crap because guess what…your on an ART website. If you can’t or are unwilling to create your own art, then you don’t belong here.


As for the “Serious Side” and yes I am putting these down as “sides” because there are some stuff being done that I don’t agree with. You have all been victimized and made the “Bad side” by those looking for attention. Don’t give the attention seekers what they want by going to their pages and spamming, and stop spamming altogether. It is on the line of bullying, and if there is nothing I hate more…its Bullies. I will critic your work, tell you if I like it and outline why, or tell you that I didn’t like it and outline why. Hell I might even tell you I think your acting like a fool! But I will not go to you homepage and “Spam it"

With that said, I must please ask this whole community to stop being a bunch of ego minded, sensitive, idiotic, self centered, copycats! JUST STOP!!!!!!! This has gone too far. We have all acted dumb because of this, me included.

I think its time for a new start….a new beginning. I have unblocked everyone on my blocked list who was put there because of this whole “schism” crap. I will not chose sides, because as far as I am concerned, it’s over. Edit: I will also no longer asoseate myself with any "group" Hotbox, Aorcc, new beatles, or whatever. I just want to post art.
